Angry Outburst We have all heard all about Nevin Shapiro the little, rich douchebag that spent millions of dollars on Miami University Athletes. According to Yahoo Sports Shapiro bought Miami Football players lavish gifts, hotel rooms and prostitutes among other things. This is fairly bad in the big scheme of things, but what is worst is the media backlash of “The U”! The hypocritical media disgust me, billions of dollars are made off of these athletes and then they wonder why these players want a slice of the bread. The Miami controversy strikes an even lower cord. On the 12th of December 2009, ESPN made a “30 for 30” documentary called “The U”. The show generated a ton of buzz and the show’s ratings soared. ESPN glorified the money and drugs that Miami Football players were going through. ESPN hyped up the Miami Athletic Department and all of the controversy surrounding it. Upcoming High School football players saw the documentary and desired what ESPN was selling. ESPN sold themselves out, and made it hip for college athletes to accept money and illegal gifts. Now a new story breaks of the same football program conducting business in the same manner that ESPN exploited in a documentary, and ESPN is taking on the role of moral police. Last night ESPN ravaged the Miami Football program, and talked relentlessly about the shame Miami Football should feel. ESPN and other media outlets are calling for the programs heads. WOW! No mercy from the same media outlet that puffed up Miami so they can hit the bank. In no way am I condoning the actions of punk ass Nevin Shapiro. He is a small man that wanted to play big. Men his age laughed at him, so he took to 18 year old kids. A 30 year old loser found his place amongst a bunch of kids; he should be locked up for being a lame bitch. The only thing worst them Nevin is the media outlets that have encouraged players to accompany themselves with people of Nevins filth. This morning every sports page is littered with pictures of Frank Gore, Devin Hester, Andre Johnson, Kellen Winslow Jr, and many other NFL players that took offerings from Shapiro. These pictures might as well be mug shots; these pictures are a cheap way to make the front page. I have yet to see a picture of ESPN, Yahoo, Fox Sports or any other outlet being portrayed as thieves. As grimy as Shapiro is and as greedy as players are, they have nothing on the ruthlessness, shameless money mongering sport outlets. Please excuse my lack of humor for this addition of Angry Outburst. I am sick and tired of the violence that occurs during sporting events, mainly during Los Angeles Dodger games. On opening day of the 2011 MLB Season a San Francisco Giant fan was severely beaten in the parking lot of Dodger Stadium. The Giant fans offense that warranted the beating, being a Giant fan. After the Dodger home opener in 2009 a Dodger fan stabbed a Giant fan in the parking lot, the mans offense that warranted the stabbing, being a Giant fan. On September 19, 2003, a Dodger fan shot and killed a Giant fan, the mans offense that warranted being killed, being a Giant fan. My wife and I love taking our daughter to baseball games. We are season ticket holders to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. We attempt to attend every game. The joy we experience at Angel Stadium is beyond words. We go for the smell of the grass and the sound of the bat cracking the ball. At least seventy of the games we attend each year are an awesome experience. The games that are not enjoyable are the Dodgers versus the Angels. During the Dodger games my daughter is subjected to witnessing obscene gestures by Dodger fans, and physical altercations. I am not saying all Dodger fans are bad, just like not all Raider fans are bad. Most Dodger fans are true baseball fans, and truly love the game. The bad seeds just ruin it for everyone. Fights, stabbings and shootings should never occur, let alone at a sporting event. I am disgusted and sickened to my stomach thinking about the wives and children of the fans that have been killed. The thought of attending a game and being injured or killed due to the team you routed for is absolutely horrendous. The Los Angles Dodger organization should be completely ashamed of them selves. The Los Angeles Police department should be disgusted with their lack of presence during these altercations. Any sport fan that resorts to violence is no fan. They are just fake tough guys that wear Dodger colors to disguise their true colors. A person who would hurt a fan of another team for no other reason then their so called loyalty, is nothing more then a animal that escaped from their cage. I beg anyone reading this to stop the violence. Do not let another wife or child lose a husband or father for no apparent reason. Take back your sport. Love the game and respect man kind. Every media channel/website has a so called sports expert team. The majority of sports websites are reporting sports; simply put they are doing their jobs. Actual facts are discussed every day in sports media. Reading articles and news stories from sport columnist is a huge hoppy of mine. True sportswriters are an antique these days; extremely rare and valuable. Reading an article or so called news written by a hack is worst then a visit to the dentist. Every time I visit Yahoo to check my email, I notice something that drives me insane! The self proclaimed Yahoo Sports Experts are the furthest thing from knowledgeable. The sports columnist that Yahoo employees are only out to get their name in someone else’s print. They strive to be controversial, when in fact they are over privileged white collar spoiled brats. The only controversy surrounding these jokes is how they are employed. The vast amount of intellectual, factual sports writers unemployed is staggering. People that actually follow the game they report on are not welcomed at Yahoo Sports! One of the main Yahoo hacks is Kevin Iole. Atrocious Iole attempts to write about the fight game that he clearly knows nothing about. His fascination with Matt Mitrione and other piss poor football players turned fighter is an example of his sports IQ. The lack of boxing and mixed martial arts intellect Hack Iole demonstrates is damaging to the game. The true fighters that have devoted their lives to being a part of one of the rawest forms of sport should be outraged. They are coming up through the ranks, and earning the games respect. "Definitely I am a starting quarterback, an elite quarterback in the NFL. I want to go ahead and start. But like it always is, the coaches have the last word." UGH? Hmmmm… Wow, I really do not know how to address this. Vince Young has thrown 42 Touchdowns in his career to 42 Interceptions. Vince Young has lost 12 fumbles, never thrown for over 2,600 yards and averages only 6.8 yards per completion at a 57% accuracy rate. At first glance you look at these numbers and say those are not starting QB numbers, let alone an elite quarterback’s numbers. There is no way Vince Young believes he is an elite QB in the NFL based off of his performance, he is obviously talking about being a leader in the locker room and in the community. To be fair to Vince let us visit his off the field performance. After a horrendous game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Vince young was distressed over being booed during and after the game. So September 9, 2008 he did what any sane person would do, went into hiding. Vince Young’s family explained to Jeff Fisher that they worried for Vince’s life, that he was extremely upset. This caused Coach Fisher to call the Nashville Police Department, who shortly later found a disheveled Vince Young. The only explanation ever given was from Young’s mother who said Vince was “hurt inside and out” over being booed. Wow Vince is a tough cookie, really deals with adversity well. Oh year in April 2009, there was also that incident of Vince Young getting into a brawl in a Dallas strip club. The fight resulted in Young being detained in a Dallas holding cell for interrogation. Obviously while being interviewed by a female police officer he had to push her down and go berserk in the interrogation room. Obviously Vince must not have been talking about his off the field actions, when saying he is an elite NFL quarterback. UGH? Hmmmm… I am still confused. The man clearly believes he is an elite NFL QB, yet he is not very good on the field and he is a train wreck when not on the field. The last available explanation; he is INSANE! The man has no sense of reality. He grew up in Houston Texas as an all state athlete. He almost won the Heisman in college, and he was a first round pick in the NFL draft by the Tennessee Titans. “VY” or “InVinceable” as he calls him self has been worshiped by people his entire life. Now he believes he truly is invincible and a great (elite) NFL quarterback. Will he start for an NFL team next year? NO! Does he know that? NO! So he is either naïve, immature or mentally retarded. Mentally retarded is the most likely answer due to the fact he scored a 6 out of 50 possible points on the Wonderlic test (standard comprehension test given to all NFL recruits). The so called adversity that the Heisman winner has dealt with has been all self inflicted. Let us not forget the reasons why he was the starting quarterback for Auburn University… There are more instances of character issues with Cam Newton, above was just a highlight of some of his more unique problems. The point is, Cam is not a resourceful young man, and he is a manipulative child blessed with good size and a cannon of an arm. Cam will be a first round pick in the 2011 NFL draft, and will be a millionaire following the draft. Obviously Cam Newton should of faced the scrutiny and punishment that Reggie Bush faced, but he was smart enough to go to an SEC school where the “good ol’ boy” system runs strong. The problem with Reggie Bush, is that he went to a PAC-10 school where rules are enforced. Cam attended 2 schools in the SEC where he was untouchable. Imagine if Mississippi State would have upped there offer to Cam, maybe 250K then MSU would have beaten Oregon for the National Championship game.

As you all know I am not in the business of being a jerk, I am actually a nice guy. There are very few things in life that upset me. So please excuse me if I am about to be cruel. Everyone that has a Facebook account, listen up; do not take pictures of yourself! You come off lonely and desperate. If you cannot find someone to take a picture of you, stop and kindly ask a stranger to take a picture of you. Better yet ask a stranger to take a picture of you while you pose with another complete random stranger. No one will know the difference. Seeing your ashy elbows and finger partially blocking the lens is driving me insane. Get a grip; obviously you are doing this so people could see the top of your head and your cleavage. Trust me no one wants to see it, so stop!

As you are walking around talking into the little contraption in your ear, you look like a lunatic. For all of the Fox sports and FX lovers get rid of Dish Network immediately! Dish Network a multi-billion dollar organization has stopped broadcasting Fox Sports, FX and the National Geographic Channels. Apparently a multi-billion dollar company cannot afford to give their customers what they want. As an avid Sons of Anarchy, Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Sports fan, I just canceled Dish and ordered Direct TV. Oh by the way tailgateadvice.com will be improved due to the fact I can watch every NFL game now since Direct TV gave me the NFL Sunday Ticket for free.
Trust me when I tell you cancel Dish Network, they need to learn that you cannot continually screw over loyal customers. I have been with Dish Network for over 2 ½ years now, and all I have to show for it is a big slap in my face. Right now I am wearing a shirt that has a big hand pointing at a Dish Network logo saying “I am with stupid”. If you are a football fan, or even someone with integrity you should 86 Dish network immediately!

Ben Roethlisberger’s suspension is over. The Steelers are excited to have him back, and Ben is equally thrilled to be back on the field. In an interview Monday after the Steelers first loss of the season Ben said in an interview “I’m not worried about my arm. My arm is ready.” As much as I hate to admit it, I bet Bens arm is good to go. He may even look good his first game back. My problem is not Bens arm, my problem is with his head.
Ben Roethlisberger has constantly made great decisions on the field and horrible decisions off the field. This trend will not stop; Ben has a false sense of entitlement that will surely land him back in trouble. Ben Roethlisberger was the star quarterback of Miami of Ohio, he was a first round draft pick and won a super bowl at an early age. Half of Pennsylvania loves him (the other half loves a dog killer), could you blame the self titled “Big Ben” for being a spoiled child? My answer, oh yeah! He has what millions of kids want; fame, money, an NFL uniform and the choice of almost any woman he wants.
The problem is, this is not enough for him, he wants more. For instance on two alleged instances he wanted woman that did not want him back. Riding a motorcycle was not enough; he had to ride it without a helmet. Drinking with underage college students was not enough; he had to do it in public while posing for pictures. Big Ben does not want to be a kingpin, he does not idolize Scarface, and in short he is not Michael “Ron Mexico” Vick. Do not get me wrong Roethlisberger is no better than Vick, he is just different. While Vick wants to be more infamous on the streets than famous on the field, Roethlisberger is just plain stupid! He does not want to be a famed villain, He just honestly does not know right from wrong, he is just plain dumb.

College is a great time in people’s lives. Countless stories start off with “Back in College”. If anyone could appreciate college it is me, I have been a student going on 12 years now. Back in college should be on my signature block. This had me thinking, what is it about college that stands out to people, why is it so memorable? Could be the great education, the lifelong friends or something else? No way is it the education. Maybe the friends, but who knows, they come and go (sorry). So it must be something else. Oh yeah now I remember it is something else, it is the alcohol. Please raise your hand if you had your first drunken’ experience in college. Now you could put your hands down, you look like a lunatic with your hands waiving in the air, sitting at your cubicle!
People love college stories that involve alcohol, they are classic. The silver screen has made billions off of drunken college kids. So now onto my angry outburst of the day… Why do College Football Stadiums (on campus) not serve alcohol? The only logical conclusion I could come up with is that the man hates me. Someone is just trying to hold the students down. You mean to tell me there are not College Deans and advisors sitting at there mahogany desk, reading leather bound books, smoking Cubans drinking a fine single malt scotch? Of course there is, so why can’t student X drink 22 ounces of a fine silver bullet?
Obviously this travesty is not based off of money, NFL stadiums sell millions of dollars worth of beer at games. It cannot be based off of religion, college games are usually on Saturday vs. NFL games on Sunday. So if it is not about money or religion, then what is this inexcusable rule based on? Oh I get it the Penn States of the world want the public to view their school as a distinguished establishment that would never condone sinning. Obviously these NCAA schools are moral based, they put integrity first. That is why they make millions, while exploiting young adults. That is why the average NCAA school has a graduation rate of fewer than 50% when it comes to football players. That is why there are more sexual assaults documented on the average college campus then at the average prison. Oh now I get it these colleges are all about morality and holding their students to a higher standard. Give me a break and while you are at get me a cold one! These schools are nothing more then a huge contradiction when it comes to collegiate athletics!

Will someone please tell me what goes through Andy Reid’s head? Please just explain his logic to me. First the man trades the teams franchise quarterback, in favor of Kevin Kolb aka Cobb salad, and then he benches Kolb for Vick. I am not saying what QB is better for the Eagles; out of the bacon topped salad or the dog killa’. I am just saying Reid needs to make up his mind. Do you want Kolb to become your franchise QB or not? Just pick one. Let us not forget McNabb is better then both of the Philly quarterbacks. Andy please put down the Pastrami on Rye for a minute and use your brain. Obviously you believe Kolb is your “future” franchise QB so play the kid, do not start another quarterback controversy. Now that you have divided the locker room again, like you did with McNabb and OchoUno, you have a real mess on your hands. Good job Andy Reid, you are doing a real bang up job, you have no super bowl rings but “hey you have a lot of angry player and fans on your hands”, that is better then nothing I guess.

Floyd Mayweather Jr does not deserve to be in the same ring as Manny Pacquiao. Floyd allegedly beat and battered the mother of his three children this weekend; the police report states that Mayweather Jr punched his ex girlfriend in the back of the head numerous times.
